2023A little yellow visitor steps into the world of Vincent van Gogh. Naoyo Kimura reimagined the painter's Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat with Pikachu as the sitter, keeping the hat, blue background and lively brushwork. The card accompanied the Pokémon collaboration with Amsterdam's Van Gogh Museum in 2023.
Its story continued beyond the museum. Pokémon announced a Dutch retail distribution beginning on 10 February 2024, with the card offered alongside qualifying Pokémon TCG purchases. It is an English promotional card, numbered 085, whose appeal comes from a particular meeting of painting, character design and a real place.
