2006Mew Gold Star appeared in Japan's Offense and Defense of the Furthest Ends expansion in June 2006. This Japanese card is numbered 015/068. It combines a Pokémon Star in shiny colors with the Delta Species mechanic, giving blue Mew a Water typing.
Masakazu Fukuda places Mew over an orange-red field, with its long tail reaching beyond the illustration frame. The English counterpart arrived later in EX Dragon Frontiers as 101/101. This reference has the Japanese First Edition mark; its artwork and market are kept separate from English copies and Japanese unlimited copies.

Mimicry borrows an attack from an opposing Pokémon in play, provided Mew meets the attack's Energy and other requirements.
