EVERY CARD HAS A STORY

More than
a little artwork.

2007

Mew Delta Species turns the usually Psychic-themed Pokémon into a Fire-type card. Masakazu Fukuda places pink Mew above a green meadow, with orange leaves carried around its curling tail. The card first appeared in Japan as the 148/PCG-P Battle Road Summer 2006 promotional card, then in English POP Series 5 as 3/17.

This wishlist entry represents the later Cosmos Holo version released in September 2007's DP Value Pack 1. It retains the POP Series 5 number but has a different finish and distribution from the non-holo pack card. The display uses the standard international reverse; inverted-back copies are a separate printing variation.

Little things to notice.

  1. 01

Delta Species changes this card's type to Fire. Its pink artwork does not depict a Shiny Mew.

  2. 02

Copy can borrow one of the Defending Pokémon's attacks when Mew meets its requirements.

  3. 03

Extra Draw searches for up to two basic Energy cards when the opponent has a Pokémon-ex in play, then attaches them to Mew.

  4. 04

The Cosmos Holo card came in a retail Value Pack even though its card number still belongs to POP Series 5.

About these prices and sources

These are researched public records, not a live feed or an appraisal of this particular copy. Published guide estimates and completed sales are shown separately. The latest located sale is the newest matching record in this notebook, not a claim that every marketplace has been searched. A sale's source may include a buyer's premium; shipping and tax depend on that source.

No independently verified price or recent sale was established for the Cosmos Holo printing with a standard reverse. The non-holo card, inverted-back holo and Japanese 148/PCG-P promo have separate markets and are not used to fill missing values.

Prices for raw cards vary with condition. Grading companies and label tiers are kept separate; no price is calculated by applying a multiplier to another grade.
