2001The English Southern Islands collection arrived during the Neo era in 2001. Its eighteen cards came together in a binder with six illustrated postcards. Mew shares the Sky postcard scene with Pidgeot and Onix, so its small picture belongs to a much larger island view.
Keiko Fukuyama paints a pink Mew floating through a rainbow sky, with Pidgeot's yellow wing and a small Charizard at the picture's edges. This English 1/18 printing surrounds the matte illustration with purple Cosmos reverse foil. Large circular and star-like reflections catch the light across the name and attack area while the yellow outer border stays plain.

This is a normal pink Mew. A reflective card finish does not make the Pokémon Shiny.

The artwork includes a Pidgeot wing and a small Charizard, connecting Mew's picture to the larger Sky scene.
